The Mission.
Hi, my name is Rachael. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2013. I had the rash, the exhaustion, the joint pain, and the foggy thinking. After a course of antibiotics, I was still feeling the symptoms. I saw three different professionals. One doctor told me I was cured. One doctor told me I didn’t have Lyme. One doctor told me I should do an hour long course of antibiotics daily for a month- not covered by insurance- while maintaining a full time job. It was then that I got a refresh in basic biology and learned how to better take care of my body. I am symptom free and have been for some time.
I took a deep dive into how our body heals itself, what products/foods are slowly killing us, and started to learn about how we’re killing the world as well.
I believe that things can be better- for ourselves as individuals as well as in general in the world. In my blog, I will be exploring why things are the way they are, how to improve aspects of our individual lives, and how we can look at the bigger picture to improve the world by working together. I also provide life coaching for people who want to make their lives better and need a mentor. (I needed someone to hold my hand for the first few months as I started to heal; I am now a proponent of mentorship and asking for help.) Read what resonates with you, skip what doesn’t. Help yourself be better than yesterday.
